Although open to all, a major thrust of SAMMs is a mobile food ministry to the many homeless veterans living in the immediate area of St. Anneʻs. SAMMs began in 2013 when a veteran in our parish saw the overwhelming need of his fellow veterans, many of then living out in the elements. If you or someone you know is in need, please contact Jerry Barger. (352) 613-0623.

"The Coffee Grounds" is hosted every Sunday following the 10:15 am Mass in the parish hall. The volunteers provide a warm, inviting area for all parishioners to come and fellowship with one another while sampling some of the most delicious baked goods. Each volunteer team is requested to provide baked goods or snack foods, and juice. They ensure that coffee is made and set up before the worship service is over.
