Temporary Suspension of Church Services –

Paraphrasing a message from Fr. Rich preceding the Sixth Sun. Easter Mass

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Bishop Brewer has issued his guidelines to re-opening the church, Phase I.  The target date is May 31st, which is Pentecost.  However, there are a lot of things we have to do before we can even consider re-opening.  For example, we have to gather necessary cleaning supplies, and you know how hard it has been to get some of those items.

We will be talking as a vestry to come up with a date when we can safely open.  I'm very anxious to have a worship service with all of you here present, but there are many things we must consider carefully before we can open the doors.  Bishop Brewer's suggestion of May 31st is not a mandate, but a suggestion, as it is the beginning of the Pentecost season; a time when the apostles came together and broke bread, and continued to pray.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord watch over and protect you and your loved ones today and in the days to come. God Bless You!

Faithfully in Christ,

Fr. Rich+
